Underwater Lighting
Submersible lighting for your Spanish underwater production.
Underwater lighting requires specialized waterproof fixtures to illuminate subjects beneath the surface. Spain offers a remarkable range of underwater environments—the Mediterranean's clarity along the Costa Brava and Costa del Sol, the volcanic depths of the Canary Islands, the cool Atlantic of the Basque Coast and Galicia, and the Bay of Biscay—each demanding fixtures matched to depth, current, and visibility.
We supply professional submersible lighting systems and qualified dive crews across Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, and the Canary Islands. Our team coordinates dive-rated LED and HMI fixtures, battery systems, and experienced underwater gaffers, with port authority and regional film commission coordination for coastal shoots.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What underwater lighting options do you offer?
We offer LED and HMI submersible lights rated for various depths, suited to the Mediterranean's clarity along the Costa Brava and Costa del Sol, the deep volcanic waters of the Canary Islands, and cooler Atlantic conditions. LED runs cool; HMI delivers powerful daylight-balanced output.
How deep can you light underwater?
Our equipment is rated for various depths—many units to 100m or more. Depth requirements depend on the specific production needs, and we select appropriate equipment accordingly.
Do you provide dive-qualified lighting technicians?
Yes, our underwater lighting technicians are qualified divers experienced across Spain's varied coastal conditions. They can operate lights underwater while maintaining proper dive protocols.
What about color temperature underwater?
Water absorbs red light quickly with depth. We use daylight-balanced lights and can add filters to compensate. Color correction is easier with proper lighting than trying to fix in post.
Can you light large underwater areas?
Yes, we can deploy multiple units for large-scale underwater lighting setups. This requires careful planning for power, positioning, and safety but enables dramatic underwater scenes.
What Spanish waters do you work in?
We work the Mediterranean Costa Brava and Costa del Sol, the volcanic Canary Islands, the cool Basque Coast and Bay of Biscay, and the Atlantic at Galicia. We also operate in pool stages and water tanks at Madrid and Barcelona studios for controlled scenes.
