On Location

On-set production crews across Spain

Here is how this works in practice. From the rooftops of Barcelona's Eixample to the red-earth plains of Andalusia and the volcanic coastlines of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Our production teams operate across every corner of Spain. We mobilize skilled crews fast for commercials, documentaries, drama series, and live events. Handling all technical logistics so that your creative vision meets both schedule and quality standards throughout every region of the country. Mainland cities, island territories, and remote rural environments are all within the reach of our Spain-wide production network.

Crews sized to your shoot, not a template β€” light enough for Barcelona's narrow alleys, technical enough for a Lanzarote feature day.

Here is the short of it. Our Camera & Cinematography crews include skilled DPs and operators comfortable with narrative features, multi-camera broadcast formats, and documentary run-and-gun setups across Spain's different locations. For mobility on rugged terrain β€” the Picos de Europa, the Pyrenees, or cliff-edge positions on the Costa Brava. Our Steadicam & Gimbal experts make sure smooth, controlled motion throughout every take. Drone Videography rounds out our aerial skill, with licensed pilots managing airspace coordination and delivering authorized footage across mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

FAQs

Production FAQs

Common questions about our production services, crew availability, and equipment support.

What crew sizes can you provide for productions in Spain?

The production team handles projects which range from two-person documentary production to 150-person feature unit operations. The typical range for commercial production shoots includes 15 to 30 personnel who consist of a DP and camera team and gaffer with two electrics and key grip with a swing and sound mixer and boom op and additional staff from art department and HMU. We've crewed up Netflix series with full Spanish units and handled single-day corporate interviews with just a shooter and audio. The network scales to fit.

How quickly can you mobilize a crew in Spain?

Madrid-based crew can often mobilize within 24–48 hours for urgent jobsβ€”we've pulled together same-day news crews when stories break. Regional shoots need more runway; figure 5–7 days minimum for locations outside major cities. The real constraint is usually equipment availability from rental houses, not crew. If you're planning ahead, 2–3 weeks gives us time to assemble the right team rather than just the available one.

Do your crews speak English?

The department heads who include DPs and gaffers and sound mixers and 1st ADs possess English fluency and have worked on productions outside their home country. That's a baseline requirement for our network. Grips, electrics, and PAs vary, but we always ensure someone on each team can translate. For fully Spanish-speaking shoots, we have native crews across every department.

Can you provide equipment along with crew?

We work with TSF, Panavision Madrid, RVZ, and other Spanish rental houses daily. The majority of equipment packages include crew members who stay with their assigned positions because the gaffer operates from their preferred lighting location and the DP selects the camera equipment. Our company takes care of customs procedures and carnet documentation for international productions which choose to bring their own equipment. The delivery of equipment brings tested and prepared equipment to the site; we begin our work.'t send gear to set without a checkout.

How do Spanish crew rates compare to other countries?

Spanish rates are competitive within Europe. Social charges add to gross wages, and we include these in all-in quotes so there are no surprises. For longer shoots, local film incentives can offset qualifying Spanish spend.
