SCENE 01 / MULTI CAMERA SETUPS

Multi-Camera Setups

Professional live event coverage and multi-camera production across Spain.

Scroll

Multi-camera setups deploy two or more cameras simultaneously to capture comprehensive coverage of scenes, events, or performances. From Primavera Sound and Mad Cool festivals to La Liga broadcasts at Santiago Bernabéu and Camp Nou, this approach maximizes shooting efficiency, preserves performance continuity, and provides editors with multiple angles from each take.

We coordinate multi-camera configurations with matched camera bodies, synchronized settings, and integrated monitoring systems across Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and the Canary Islands. Our team works alongside the broadcast infrastructure connected to Ciudad de la Luz in Alicante and Estudios Picasso in Madrid, leveraging Spain's strong RTVE and Movistar+ broadcasting tradition.

Scalable 3 to 16 camera multi-cam packages through RTVE, Atresmedia, Mediaset and Movistar+ broadcast infrastructure

Here is how this works in practice. Spain's multi-camera setup capacity is anchored by the deep telenovela and live-event broadcast custom at RTVE Prado del Rey, Atresmedia, Mediaset España and Movistar+ studios. The same infrastructure that produced Velvet. Money Heist (multi-cam plates at Mediapro Studios). Cuéntame cómo pasó and the full Spanish daily news + entertainment grid. For arena and stadium production we deploy 8-16 camera rigs at Wizink Center Madrid, Palau Sant Jordi Barcelona, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Camp Nou. Plaza de Toros Las Ventas Madrid and Plaza de España Sevilla.

Here is the short of it. With switching cores through Sony XVS-9000, Grass Valley K-Frame. NewTek TriCaster 8000 or Blackmagic ATEM Constellation 8K. Festival multi-cam volume covers Mad Cool Festival Madrid, Primavera Sound Barcelona, Sónar Festival, FIB Benicàssim, San Fermín Pamplona, Las Fallas Valencia. Feria de Abril Sevilla and La Tomatina Buñol. Each demanding a different stage geometry and multi-cam blocking rhythm. Camera-body inventory is Sony HDC-3500, Grass Valley LDX 86N Series, and Hitachi SK-UHD with B4-mount Fujinon HK Top and Canon CN20x50 broadcast lens packages.

Here is the breakdown. Engagements begin with a venue tech survey and a deliverable spec (live PGM cut + ISO records + multi-bitrate stream + archive masters), then we scale crew to match. A senior 8-camera rock-concert setup brings 1 director + 1 TD + 1 EVS operator + 1 audio supervisor + 8 camera ops + 4 utility/cable + 1 RF wrangler + 2 stage-LX operators on the standard call sheet. With the 16-camera arena builds adding a second EVS operator. Secondary vision-mixer and extra cable-pull crew.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. CNMC (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia) range coordination clears wireless audio integration ahead of the call. Pre-production typically covers a 3-day tech rehearsal block at major venues. With shorter half-day rigging for studio multi-cam sit-downs at Mediapro Sant Joan Despí or Pinewood Iberia. And bilingual ES/EN crews handle global co-productions with Catalan + Basque + Galician + Valencian regional ease ready. Backup power runs Honda EU2200i + EU7000is silent generators with Wacker Neuson 50/150 kVA tow-behind units for the outdoor festival multi-cam builds. And NAV-equivalent ATA carnet through AEAT clears imported broadcast gear cleanly.

FAQ

Live Production Expertise

How many cameras can you deploy?

We regularly operate setups from 3 to 12+ cameras depending on event scale. For major concerts at WiZink Center Madrid or Palau Sant Jordi Barcelona, we can deploy extensive camera packages including specialty positions like jibs, roving cameras, and POV units.

Do you provide live switching and direction?

Yes, our multi-camera packages include experienced vision mixers and directors who switch between cameras in real-time, creating a polished live edit. We can deliver a switched program feed, ISO recordings, or both.

Can you live stream our event?

Yes, we provide complete live streaming services including encoding, CDN delivery, and platform management for YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, or custom platforms. We can also provide satellite uplink for broadcast.

What about IMAG for live audiences?

We provide IMAG (Image Magnification) services for concerts and events, feeding live camera coverage to venue screens so audiences can see close-ups of performers and speakers.

Do you have OB van facilities?

We work with professional OB (Outside Broadcast) vans equipped with switching desks, monitoring, audio mixing, and all necessary infrastructure. Spain's La Liga-anchored broadcast sector operates one of Europe's largest OB van fleets.

How far in advance should we book?

For major events, we recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead to ensure equipment availability and proper planning. Smaller multi-camera shoots can often be arranged with 1-2 weeks notice.

Productions in Spain that need this often pair it with Live Streaming, Virtual Reality Filming, and Volumetric Capture for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Competition & Reality Show Production and Multi-Camera Shoots.
